yeah, my first roll is done, and developed! :D
thats the index of the roll (its almost 6mb......for the ones that want to see it fullzise)
it seems that the picture came out nicely :D (it was my first time with film)
it seems that the camera worked properly :D (it was out of use for like 5 years)
it seems that ill continue shooting film :D (i really liked it)

so, friday ill have the negscans
do i need a special scanner to scan the negatives?
i was thinking of doing it at a friends place, with a normal scanner
but the guy at the photostore told me that a special scanner is needed
so i left them there
so, now i want another roll :D
but theyre expensive....
theyre 25 pesos, it would be 25 dollars, or euros for you, depending on where you live
the developing is 5 pesos, and the scanning 10.....
so, it would be like 40 pesos everytime a finish a roll
this one lasted me for like 2 months, so... that will be every once in a while
but if i keep getting the satisfaction i got when i saw the pictures in the index, ill keep doing it :D
friday night ill have the negscans, and ill write a post with all the pictures, and a picture of the camera, which i promised and never did...(i know ive been bad here)
and then you tell me if i keep shooting film or not =P
hihihi, im really happy :)

anyway, back to digital
i took that picture today in a chemistry class
i liked the look of it, those are vases which have reactives, and theyre behing a glass
i liked the lighting, and the textures :)

so, last thing, and im done
yesterday i installed safari
and im loving it :D
i have a pc, but with panther visual style, and all that shit
i wish i had a mac...i used one in cha's appartement, and i fell in love with it (the mac)
theyre so cute, and intuitive...so perfect...

one last thing, really

@arthut: yeah, its really expensive
i think here they dont care what tipe of roll it is
althought you dont get a wide variety of film, just a kodak professional one...
i have the negscans, but they dont look as good as in the index....at all...

40 pesos per roll????? even the $22 chris pays seems like a lot to me. i found a lab that does developing for $5 and scanning for $5 ... but depending on what film you use it can go from $2 (apx 400) to like $7.50 (delta 400) ... but fuck, 40 pesos ... that's sad for film! :(
nice contact sheet though, i can't wait to see the neg scans!!!

yes, everything is getting more and more expensive, but lucky me, ill have to go there like once a month, or less...
i cant wait to see them fullsize, im axious :D

CONGRATULATIONS!

mate .. that's expensive to develop film! damn! i thought it was bad in la at us$22/roll plus the film at us$4.19. adds up.

can't wait to see more!

and ... yes .... cha's apt! we had raclette with her there!

fantastic mate, fullsize is nice :D film rocks.
just back on uber after my hiatus! my broadband has miraculously mended itself too, so i have three weeks of uber to catch up on, and thanks so much for the congratulations mate ;) a truly amazing experience. now i must go work out why all the links on my page are broken!
