the thing is like this...
the people who own land use it to plant soy (not everybody, but a big part)
they do it because it has a ridiculous income, its just too much
well, they dont plat it, they rent the land so another one plants it
and a few days ago, those people started burning down those fields (wich is against the consitution)
they do that to begin a new cycle to plant some more...
lots of those fields are right by the highway from Buenos Aires - La Plata
Buenos Aires is full of smoke in the city
and over here in La Plata, we are full of it too...
the wind brought it here
yesterday you could see some all over the city, but thin
and today a friend of mine woke me up with an sms telling me to go out and take some pictures of the sun because it looked good
so i got up, took a look out the window and i couldnt see anything...
its a thick smoke that covers all the city (im lucky i dont have classes today :D)
i started caughing immediately, you cant breath like this...
you feel it in your eyes, throat, lungs, its aweful!
so i did what my friend told me
i grabbed my camera and went outside
and you cant see the end of the block...
look, ill show you some pictures
all pictures are from the corner of my house
i couldnt resist that one :)
so yeah...you must be happy that youre not here...
when i used to live in the south of argentina
the fields owners (which use the fields for apples, pears, plums) burnt tires to pevent rainings i think....
so the whole city was coveres in a black thick smoke
you woke up and the whole house was black, you, your dog, your mother =P
everywhere you looked at, it was black...
so, this is not so bad =P
but breathing and driving are some issues.....
so, i hope you like the newsflas =P
and enjoy your day, it could be worse...
cheers everybody!!
